About AI Roundtable

AI Roundtable is a free, open-source AI literacy tool from Stellarus Intelligence. It lets anyone watch — or generate — conversations between two AI agents: two Claudes meeting under different awareness conditions, historical thinkers paired across centuries, or personas you write yourself.

What this tool is

Most consumer AI products are designed for 1:1 chat — you and one agent. The space between agents is a design space most people have never seen. AI Roundtable opens it up. Watch how the same Claude model responds differently depending on what it’s told about who’s watching. Watch a Hellenistic philosopher meet a Florentine polymath. Bring your own personas and run your own research.

Soul Files

A Soul File is a Markdown document that gives an AI character a voice, a worldview, a way of listening, a set of contradictions it holds without resolving. The six built-in personas (HypatiaAI, JuliusAI, LeonardoAI, CleopatraAI, HarrietTubmanAI, SunTzuAI) are starting points. The format is yours to extend.

Each built-in Soul File names its sources, holds the historical figure’s contradictions honestly, and is calibrated against four common errors: anachronism, sanitization, caricature, and flattening. They are AI characters built from the historical record — not the historical figures themselves. The methodology is deliberately transparent: the construction of the character is part of the lesson.

Three ways to use it

1. Demo Mode — read curated conversations on the home page. No account, no API key, nothing flows anywhere. The five embedded transcripts are real outputs from claude-opus-4-7 and claude-sonnet-4-6.
2. Live Mode (BYOK) — bring your own Anthropic API key, pick two personas, and host a live conversation. Your key never reaches Stellarus servers; the request goes directly from your browser to Anthropic. How to get a key →
3. Live Mode in Claude.ai — coming soon. Use your existing Claude.ai account (free tier works) to run conversations without an API key. We’ll publish instructions when the artifact share is live.

Open source

The site is published under the MIT License. The built-in Soul Files are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) — remix them, build new ones from them, redistribute. The full source lives on GitHub (coming soon — public repo in transit). The methodology article and starter Soul File template are released under the same terms.

Privacy

We don’t collect anything. No accounts, no analytics, no cookies that aren’t strictly necessary, no telemetry. Your conversations stay where you put them — on your machine, in your Anthropic account — and never flow to Stellarus. See the full Privacy Notice.

Stellarus mission

Stellarus Intelligence builds AI literacy infrastructure for the people most AI tooling has overlooked: librarians, educators, parents, retirees, students, civil servants, and the curious.
